Boiled Custard (Custard Sauce)

A Tasty Holiday Treat


This time of year you can find egg nog everywhere.

You can find all kinds from pumpkin to cinnamon.

I grew up in the South where, if you don't like egg nog or want something else, you have the tasty option of Boiled Custard.

I don't live in the South anymore, and every year I've thought while looking at the egg nog options, "I would love some Boiled Custard."

Well here it is!

You'll love this Boiled Custard (Custard Sauce) recipe!

It's so easy!!


Ingredients:

2 cups Milk
2 Eggland's Best Eggs, slightly beaten


Directions:

Put eggs and sugar in top of double boiler.




Mix well.




Slowly add milk.




Mix well.

Cook until mixture coats a spoon.




Add vanilla.




Stir until well blended.

Remove from heat and let cool before serving.

Serves 2.
